My name is Katya, and I am from Russia, the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2021, I came to Kenya for the first time for a few weeks, and that time became a turning point for me: I clearly saw that this is where I could serve people in a practical way, becoming the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

Since 2024, I have been living in Kenya and dedicating myself to ministry. During this time, I have served in different areas, and since 2025 I have focused on the Child Sponsorship project, financial ministry, and providing first aid.

Child sponsorship is especially important to me because it gives children a chance for education, care, and a different future — instead of the streets and mere survival. It is an opportunity to invest in a child’s life in a way that can truly change their story. For me, it is an honor to be part of these changes and to see how even small help can bring real hope.
